How many husbands DID Mary have? I have seen listings ranging from one to five. It seems that when she was hanged, her surname was Parker, but some folks are saying she had two or three husbands after Nathan Parker. If that is accurate, why didn't she die using the name of her current (or most recent) husband? And was her final husband also an Ayer, and how closely related was he to Mary? And if she really did have that many husbands, what happened to all those men while they were married to her? Hm. And while I'm at it, is anyone confident that they have her actual birthdate? 1634 seems to be pretty popular. I am descended from her brother, Obadiah.
