I am trying to track down a Drury Malone who married a Sarah Hicks.
In "Richmond Co. Marriage Records," I found a listing for a marriage dated 8/25/1792; Sarah Hicks m. Drury Maline (Malone?).

I started with a Sarah, maiden name unknown, who md. John Donaldson (b. 1745-1780).They started out in Marlboro Co.,SC and moved to Richmond Co.,NC. This gives us a general idea of the time period she lived in. After his death, she md. Daniel Hicks. Their orphans were mentioned in the records of Richmond Co.,NC c. 1796 so assume D. Hicks died just before this date. Then, I ran across the above marriage record on Sarah Hicks/ Drury Maline (Malone?). He may have been her third husband. Sarah & Daniel Hicks were living on or near the line separating Marlboro Co.,SC & Richmond Co.,NC. I can find nothing further on Drury Maline/Malone. I wondered if there might be a connection to Sarah Malone. I am very famliar with the Ayers and their families. Also know of the Barnwell, SC. connection. I've been messing around with genealogy for over 20 yrs. I own most of the books on both Marlboro & Richmond Co,, but not everything is in books!!.
