I'm new at this, so if I violate protocol, please forgive me.
My father was Alton Abner Ayer, and he was born in Austin, MN. His father was Herbert Alton Ayer, and he had at least two brothers, Sam and Jess, I believe. I don't know if they are related to Edgar John Ayer. I seem to remember the name Edgar mentioned by my dad, aunts or uncles, however. This is just a shot in the dark. I have to begin somewhere, I guess. If you have any knowledge of either of my forebearers, please share it with me. If not, thank you anyway.
