Hello,

My name is Michael Ridgway. I am a great-great grandson of Moses Montgomery Ayer and Eliza A. Bickmore (Ayer). My mother Lorelei was the daughter of Kenneth Johnson who was the son of Lyda and Edward Johnson. Lyda was a daughter of Moses and Eliza. As a side note, many of this particular line of the Ayers are buried at Oak Hill in SJ.

I am also the keeper of the Ayer Family Bible. It is well over 125 years old and in very fragile condition. Moses paid $7.00 for it in 1879. It was given to me by my mother after her death in 1983 given to her by my grandfather after Lyda's death in 1970.

I am interested to find out if there are indeed still Ayers living in the SF Bay Area. Please correspond if you feel moved to do so.
