One of the Hodges men was a General in the Army of the USA during the indian wars with Andrew Jackson. Was that George Hodges.
Burrell McGee and Sarah Hodges had a daughter America
McGee died 1920. My GG Grandmother. She married first a Smith and had 5 kids, then a Bryson and had a daugher my Grandmother. I have photos of America McGee, Sarah Hodges, and Burrell Mcgee. A wedding picture of Burrell and Sarah in tin type.
