I am a decendant of Thomas Ayer and Sarah Malone. Their daughter Anna aka Peggy Ayer married James McGee. They had a son Michael McGee who was a Revolutionary War soldier. Michael married Anna Malvina Simms, and there son was Burrell McGee who married Sarah Hodges (Daughter of John Hodges of Hodges, SC) There daughter was America McGee Bryson my Great Grand Mother. America gave this information to her daughter in 1907.
Geneology researcher dispute some of this but I had an email from a decendant of Thomas Ayer who told me my information was accurate and only an Ayer decendant would know details like Anna (Peggy) and about being captured by the tories and freed by his brother.
