There are some descendants of John Ritchie that live at Delatite near
Mansfield in Victoria. John Was on Aringa Station and I have a 3-4 page
story on his life and travels. As I don't want to repeat anything you
already know, perhaps you should give me a picture of what you would like.
John was on Aringa Station just south of Port Fairy. A direct descendant
John Ritchie lived in Port Fairy and we visited him there often in years
gone by. He was a very kind gentleman and his house was just a few doors
from John Cox's first Bond Store on the waterfront. John moved to Bell Park
? at Geelong some years ago and may not be with us anymore. He had a son in
law Mr.Officer, whom I believe had an interest in the family history.
John Ritchie was involved with the John Cox family of Port Fairy and became
Executor/Guardian to the Cox family.
