Good Idea Beth,

I have ancestors on the cusp of three lists so to speak in Ararat by the
name of Charles Edwin and Annie (nee Jones)WATSON.

I would particularly like to make contact with the descendants of one of
their sons Jabeth Frank WATSON who married Maud Hanson.
Their children were Marjorie Gwendoline WATSON b 1917 Ararat m ?
Robertson
Edwin James WATSON b 1912 Ararat m ? Smith
Annie Beatrice b 1914 Ararat m ? Croft

One of Charles and Annie's daughters Lucy married Richard Charles
WYATT. Thus I have connections with John Lewis WYATT a former lord
mayor of Portland, Thomas Lewis WYATT, his father from Hamilton and
George Duck WYATT, Lord Mayor of Mt. Gambier. I would love to find out
more about their other brother John Henry WYATT.

Having ancestors in this area of Victoria is difficult for researching,
as I have to access Victorian as well as Sth Australian records.

Any help would be appreciated,

How many active members do we have on this list at any given time?
Perhaps next time we need a "rejuvenation" Beryl, we could write a brief

paragraph on connection to the area. What do others think? Perhaps a
link with a town will unearth some memories among listers. This happened

with me a while ago and it was a worthwhile exchange.
