Hi listers,
I have just returned from a trip to South Africa where we travelled with another 100 Australian couples from each Aussie State. One night at Kruger we were all sitting around a fire when someone was raving on about NZ cheese, and not to be outdone I said "Hey they make wonderful cheese at Timboon that is exported all over the place"........here's me thinking that no one would know Timboon. A girl stood up and said " hey my grandfather was from Timboon".....says me "what was his name?".....says her "Bill Addensell".....says me "he was my father's best friend and also his best man at mum and dad's wedding!!!" I was thrilled, this man had left the area not long after I was born and I always wanted to find out what happened to him. Of course I am sending off the wedding photos to his granddaughter.
