Hi all.

I am researching possibly land selection for a Elias or John BATESON in
1860's or 1870's in the Casterton/Sandford or Henty/Merino Downs area of
NORMANDY in Western Districts of Victoria. I know that most of the land
was taken by the squatter families but my Elias Bateson was listed in
1873 as a farmer at Henty's Creek not a farm labourer. Has anyone a map
of this area showing the early selections and the names of the selectors
and acreage/allotment numbers recorded on them? If so I would like to
hear from you please. Any other suggestions?
