Dear List,

Seeking assistance locating the locality of Hanging Rock.

The reference is from the NSW Government Gazette Feb 25, 1853
Which recorded a list of letters returned from the country and now lying in this office (GPO) unclaimed, addressed to persons residing in the Hunter River and Northern Districts.

Listed was the following person:

Clarke, Mr Moses Hanging Rock.

Therefore does anyone know where this Hanging Rock was ?
