Hi,

Does anyone know if the following address would have been a church?

61 FREDERICK STREET, MEREWETHER

I have a marriage in 1921 that took place there & was after a photo of it if it was a church.
The religion on the cert. says - BAPTIST

Also, while I'm asking -

does anyone know what the following occupation means =

FIRELIGHTER

this was in 1926 in WALLSEND
