I don't see either of them in the two books, Howard County starts in 1873.

Montgomery County book is from 1843-1925.

It sad about Polk Count, we are missing 1844 to 1883

I know your swamped, but when you have time could you check the Howard and
Montgomery Co. Marriage books for:

P.B. (Peter) Hogan and Martha Jane Cotnam marriage. I think they were
married in 1876, and it was most likely in Polk Co., (as those records have
been distroyed) thought I'l try the other counties, and maybe will luck
out.

Also try Montgomery Co. for Elizabeth (Betsy) Hunter and William H or M.
Cotnam.
It would have been back about 1854. Does there records go that for back?
