The marriage records in Howard County start in 1873.
I didn't see a John or Benjamin Rose in the Polk county book.
J R Rose 8.30.1869 4.26.1947 is buried at Baker. I would assume that is
Benjamin Rose's son.

Hi Danny,
I am looking for a possible marriage record for my gr grandparents in
Howard Co. I think they were married in Polk, but it's worth a try.
Elizabeth Davis or Mrs. Peyton Davis married John or Benjamin John Rose.
Maybe the 1860's. Elizabeth was a daughter of Levi Davis and Catherine Ann
Hopkins and sister to James Nathaniel Davis. This is how I am a cousin to
Randy Davis.
Please check your cemetery books for John (Benjamin John) Rose or his son
Ed (Edward, Edgar etc.). I cannot find their graves. Elizabeth "Bettie" is
buried at Baker with daughters, Lucy Catherine "Katie" Davis Baker and
Elizabeth "Lizzie" Davis Baker, and her son Samuel Levi "Uncle Lee" Davis.
I'm still trying to run the family to ground!
Thanks,
Judith Raven

Danny,
Would you mind looking in your marriage book to see if you have a marriage
between George G. Edwards and Argie Melvina Christenberry? Thanks.
