Weldon,
I have no personal knowledge of the group you identify but upon checking, I
found a postings by Robert D. Epps from 3/26-29/2003 on
Genforum.com/Queen
Titled Elijah Buck Queen
Have you perhaps contact with this gentleman?
If not, try <
Also, I meant to ask if you had checked on homestead documents for any of
these people?
Sometimes that will give you more information on how they moved and some
subtle connections that you
Would not find otherwise. I would definitely check land patents for the
Queen families in AR.
Hope this helps.
Beth

Subject: [ARIZARD] (no subject)
On the 1850 census, Independence, Arkansas, the is a family of Queen?s
(Mother, Elisabeth, born 1790, and 4 of her children) and. there is a Reuben
Queen born 1836, AL.
in the home of the Tate family .
Elisabeth and most of her children were also born AL.
In 1850, This Reuben Queen B: AL, abt 1836, is in the house of my Butler
family (1860), Fulton Co.
Margaret, wife of Reuben Butler, maiden name was Queen. I think, this young
Reuben Queen ( in their home) may be Margaret?s younger brother.
I also suspect, Margaret Queen who married Reuben Butler might be the
daughter of Elisabeth and William Queen.
Reuben L. Butler born 1823 was the son of Jonathan Nealy Butler, his sister,
Mary Catherine Butler who married Reuben Queen,B; 1786.
I have not been able to find him after the 1860 census. Wondering if he may
have been a casualty of the war.
I am trying to establish some sort of a relationship between the young
Reuben Queen in the Butler home to the Queen family in Independence Co., AR.
I ?think? Elisabeth Queen B: about 1790 may be the wife of William Queen
shown in Carroll Co. AR on the 1840 census, (The Butlers lived in Carroll
Co. AR. from about 1837-through 1840?s they migrated from North Carolina,
Tennessee , to AR .along with the Queen family, some members of these
families had intermarried. )
William Queen B; about 1790, is on the 1850 census in TEXAS, in the home of
Reuben Queen who I believe was his older brother. He is there with out any
family of his own.
I have not been able to find ANY of Elisabeth Queen?s family (except maybe
John Queen ) on the 1860 or any of the censuses? thereafter.... anywhere.
Can anyone help with this Queen / Butler line ?
