Beth, I don't have any idea of what my response to Don Ott was back in 2010. I have not researched the Lee family and have no proof either way of who the wife of Joshua Logan Younger was. By the way, another Younger researcher who is from this line states that there is no proof of Joshua's middle name being Logan. I can't say either way as this is not my line and I have not researched this line lately.

I'm pretty sure I would have answered Don's question re Thomas Coleman Younger marrying Belle Shirley with the fact that in his book by himself, he denies he ever married her. And as far as most of the Younger researchers from that line believe, none of the four outlaw Younger's of the James-Younger Gang, ever married. That is to say, that Cole nor his brothers who were members of the gang, never married. And we all believe there are no direct descendants of the four men. Possibly some descendants of the other brothers or sisters, but NO DIRECT DESCENDANTS of the Younger Gang members. All of them were sons of Henry Washington Younger.
