I am posting from a message I found from 2002 so this is very old inquiry.
Sheila Bivans Hamilton writes---Am looking for William "Bill" Bivans m.
Nancy "Nan" K. Freeman-Cook(who was previously married to William "Bill"
Cook whence 5 children came. Bill Bivans and Nan had only one child, William
Marshall Bivans (my grandfather). Little is known of Nan's husband, William
Bivans as by 1900 Census Nan can be found w/ little Wm. Marshall Bivans and
the Cook children and she is listed as divorced.
Sheila also states that there is a W.L.Bevins that died in 1914 in
Independence Co but doesn't know if that is the same man? Sheila says this
is her brick wall
