Happened across a Photo taken by J.R. Lewis, Studio in Batesville, dated about 1948/9 ..Wonder if this was from the original J.R. Lewis?

Found a J;R. Lewis married Belle Gillam- 29 June 1904-both lived in Pitts Arkansas (not far from Batesville)

Independence County Ark, Liberty Twp. 1860:
#1753
LEWIS, Pheoby 49 NC
Able K 18 NC
Franklin D. 16 NC
Emily A. 14 NC
William D. 12 NC
JOHN R. 8 Ark
Elizabeth J. 6 Ark
#1754
LEWIS, Thomas H. 25 NC
Mary 18 Ms.

This family is in the 1850 Buncombe Twp Independence Ct census as:
LEWIS, William 38 NC/Ferebe 38 NC/Thomas 16, Mary A.13/Able 10/Franklin 7/Enary 5 and William 1 all born NC.

Dont know if this just muddies the waters or maybe a clue...
