I searched for obituaries for Waters and Watters, this is the only one I
found.

Mrs N. L. Waters, aged 66, died Monday at her home at Viola. She is
survived by her husband, four brothers, J. T. and Newton of Viola and W. D.
and Felix McElmurry of California and two sisters, Mrs Millie Ashley and Mrs
Dora Green of Viola.

Added Note: Mt Calm Cemetery in Fulton County, 4 miles north of Viola
Waters, Betty (w/o Noah L.) 25 Jan 1871 – 20 Sep 1937
Waters, Noah L. (h/o Betty) 20 Sep 1878 – 10 May 1954

Marsha. I am being haunted by vague memory. Two doctors in Salem and their
names were Woods and Weathers, but Dr. Waters seemed familiar. So I found
him in my FTM. Dr. Z. L. Waters married to Samantha Jeffery in July 1878.
