Junebug,
I think that more than likely may have been meant to be b. 1925.
I don't remember having Marie's birthdate.
I'm pretty sure they would have been in the 1930 Census at Spring Creek
unless they were missed somehow, G Uncle Eugene Peck died in the 1930's when
Jackie Peck, his last child was only a baby. I do recall Pauline Harris Lindsey
saying to

me that she would never forget the day that Eugene died so suddenly, they came
to school to

tell Marie and fetch her home, she was sitting beside Pauline in the classroom.
Very sad day in

that little classroom.
Beth

Yes, Jim. It is.
Unfortunately, I don't identify with that name.

Obviously, the tree that you picked up has a lot of incorrect info.
Herbert Addison and Alba Edison McNeill Peck only had two sons, the one that
died, I believe two days after he was born and my Father, Wm. Doyle.

I don't have a clue who the Mary Francis is?
but there was an announcement published in the Calico newspaper back in the
time
period that identified the baby dying immediately after birth as a girl
which
was incorrect but I don't think the newspaper ever did a retraction that I
remember seeing though they were asked to by the family.

There is a Marie Peck who was son of Herbert's brother Eugene Peck and Ethel
Gillian. As Junebug knows this is the Marie that married Frances Gillihan.

So this may be where the confusion came in. Other than that, don't know who
they
could be talking about.

Alba Edison McNeill Peck's Mother was Mary Francis "Fanny" Cantrell McNeill
but Alba & Herbert didn't have any dau.
Thanks,
Beth

P.S. Yes, the program and entertainment at the meeting was exceptional. I
think
lots of folks really enjoyed themselves and the food was great! We missed
Roger
but he was playing Civil War in Kentucky, I believe.

Is the below Mary Beth Peck the same as the above Mary Beth Peck Cooper?
