June, who is the Albert Copeland who married Bettie Hill?

The Copeland's brothers buried Wises Chapel are sons of George and Mary
Gillihan Copeland. what I have says all are buried in Wises Chapel but when
you look at it it doesn't show George and Mary. The cem. book also has them
all buried Wises Chapel
The cem book says Wises Chapel is sometimes called Crossroads Cem.

Denny Copeland mentioned is s/o Troy Copeland.
Just a thought don't solve the problem I don't guess.
Where is Fern? she would know.

Mary Copeland is d/o James C. Gillihan and Amanda "Mandy" Arnold. James C.
was bro to grandpa W.R. Gillihan Jr.

All,
I had heard something about this before,
seems someone just put up that Crossroads sign up.
I believe that the USGS correctly identifies that location
as Wise Chapel (I think, that is the way it was the last list
I printed off for Izard County). I think that Denny Copeland
serves on that board and maybe Jay Dixon is still on there
as well. You may want to touch base with one or both of them
to confirm.

I think to do an official name change is quite involved so
I don't think that really has been done but I don't know with
any certainty.
Beth

Vera,
I know where you are talking about, but I don't know the "official" name of
the cemetery.
Please, please take care when you are out in this hot weather.  I worry
about you getting snake bit, or covered in chiggers.  This weather is
horrible. Be sure and take someone with you.
Love 'ya
Janice
