Mail - kinda testing.
Went to LDS workshop last Saturday. 2 things I gathered:1) bunch of links to LDS sights - kinda what to do after you get in through the front doorAND 2) the need to net work.
While we do network on this list, my speaker really was pushing this.According to her, blogs are now becoming the repository of small gold mines.2 sites she mentioned: Creative Gene and Gene Blogger
She said she had found blogs with as many as 3 generations of birth and death certificates with marriage licenses and census for each line.  (Obviously NOT my GGF!)
Apparently newcomers think blogs are easier than websites - easier to maintain, more personal, and free too. Lectured did mention Facebook and Twitter too.  I just can't go there. While I can see merits with FB - I just ain't gonna tweet.
Back to blogs:Remember "Ode to A Mule" - Fetus Hagen's tribute to his beloved mule, Ruth?It came from the blog of The Notorious Meddler.  He is a Boles descendant ! ! !  His blog has been running for several years and has a section for family stories. While we haven't linked yet, it does look more possible than any lead I have had in some time.
Soo . . . if the mail is a little slow - - - type in "BLOG" and visit a few sites. Some one used to say - "ya' never know."Marsha

I know the feeling Betty.  However,  I did get this one from you, but bet a
nickel this doesn't go through.  It's terrible.  Get out the string and tin
can.
