I am researching the Echols & that original site is a good start for anyone who is searching for connections. If anyone knows if this site has been continued anywhere, please share that information. So far, it hasn't helped me....

I am researching John H. Echols b. about 1810 in VA. He married Ann J. Perdue b. 1815 in GA. John and Ann had 4 children that I'm aware of: Elizabeth Mary, Thomas E, John C, and James M. Elizabeth and Thomas were born in Alabama; John C & James M. in Mississippi.

I have not been able to find John H. from birth until he showed up in Mississippi around 1845-1850. At that time they were in Mississippi and finally settled in Ashley County, AR before 1855.
