Have seen this census before and caused a stir then.
As I recall, Patsy and Thomas are indeed siblings but there are other siblings too. Seems like they show up elsewhere (maybe TX) with different parents, more siblings, and parent have another surname - maybe Chism or Cantrell - and there was a problem about actual spelling of that new surname.
 Just saying there are other census that creates more questions and believe had  questions of about Indian heritage. Now I know that in some Indian clans, children that mother's last name. Might keep that in mind too.
Anyone else remember this controversy   ? ? ?

Question.... Did these HIGHTOWER children take the name of LANGSTER ?? They are listed in later census' as LANGSTER'S.   

It would be interesting to have DNA from this group

The DIXON book list Luvenia , daughter of John 'Bushey' Dixon, married Caleb Langston  and had three children, John, Mary and Martha Ann.
Mary Dixon married Joe Smith, their daughter Lela married a Smythe. 
Martha Ann Dixon married Henry Arnold, they had Edward, Thomas, Walter and Herman.     

There is a Caleb Langston 28 in the 1870 Spring Creek, Howell County Mo. Wife is Manerva L. 22 with one son John H. Langston 2/12.   

Caleb S.  Langston (husband of Minerva Liervern (Dixon) Langston) born 1846-died 1886 . From  Carroll Hayden Ceme, book, Spring Creek  Ceme.
