I have it as Robert Amyi Wiles, but like you, I have seen it
spelled as Amsi and also Aimsey. I believe Amyi is the
correct spelling as his father was Thomas Amyi. I have
no clue where the " Amyi" came from, I see no background
for the name.....Harold B.
