Hello, Mildred:  I tried googling Dugan, Georgia, with no luck.  At one
time, we
could use BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and put in "Historical" place
names
and they would come up with answers.  HOWEVER, BLM has changed a lot in the
last
few years.  I just looked at its site and it appears they are charging
(imagine
that!) for about everything.  Perhaps someone else will know.  You might try

contacting where Georgia has state history records (like in Arkansas,
they're at
Little Rock) and perhaps someone in the State Historical Society can
help.  Sorry, I couldn't find anything.

Peggy

Subject: [ARIZARD] Help

I need help locating a town, Dugan, Georgia, that existed in 1896.  It is
not on the map that I have of Georgia now.  I particularly would like the
county.  Does anyone have an old map of Georgia or know how to find this
town?  Any help will be appreciated.  When my ggrandmother's estate was
settled in Heber Springs one of the heirs is living there.  I am trying to
determine if this woman was her daughter.  Her obit states she had a
daughter living in Georgia but does not name her.  Thanks

Millie
