Deceased Name: FLORENE M. ARNOLD
Florene Matilda Arnold passed away at her home February 10, 2007. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Chapel; friends may call one hour prior to the service. Florene was born February 1, 1921 to Clatys and Clifford Marchant in Izard County, Arkansas. She married Hayse Gordon Arnold, January 6, 1940. They moved to the Independence area in 1955. Together they celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1990. Florene retired from Weathertite Window Co. in 1983 after 27 years of service. Florene was preceded in death by her loving husband on September 24, 1991 and her brother Harvey Edward Marchant in 1984. Her survivors include son, Darryl G. Arnold and wife Susan of Alba, TX, son R. Stanley Arnold and wife Mary of Independence, MO, and daughter, Peggy L. Woolery and husband Ron of Raytown, MO, 5 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, sisters, Merdean Richardson, Jo Hurst, Vonda Ray Maynard and many loved nieces and nephews.
