I might not should but can I butt in here......Flavel Green was a policeman
at Batesville, Independence County. I can remember seeing him when I was
quiet young, the name stuck in my head. As for the Dickersons Fred grew up
to be post master in Evening Shade for many years, he married a Thomas, I
can't think of her first name right now. They had son Eddie Dickerson, twin
daughters Leta and Veta and another son Frankie. They still live in and
around Evening Shade.

I think I'll respond about Marion and see what happens.
The Flavel and Clarence aren't familiar to me and it might not be my Marion
Green.
One never knows until one checks???

I noticed on one of the census records, it listed Flavel Green and Fred
Dickerson (age 4). Fred married my late husband's first cousin. I knew
Flavel Green, I believe he used to be a police officer in Batesville, not
sure, been soooooooooooo long ago.
