Calico Rock Progress - June 28, 1973

    Claude Randell Carrico, age 76, of Calico
Rock, Ark. D. 21 Jun 1973

in the Calico Rock Medical Center. 
He was a retired Blacksmith and a

member of the Assembly of God Church.  He was a resident of Izard
County most of

his life.

    Survivors include his wife, Bessie F. Carrico of the home; one

daughter, Mrs. Wilma Elam of Texas;
two sons, Claude D. Carrico of Calico Rock;

Lowell Carrico of Calico Rock, Ark.;
five grandchildren and five

great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters.

    Funeral service was Sat., June 23 at 2:00 p.m. in the Assembly of God

Church at Calico Rock with Rev. Morrison
officiating.  Burial in Roselawn


Cemetery by Howard's Funeral Home.

    Pallbearers were:  Donnie Moser, Allie Moser, Hays
Whittaker, Hall

Garner, Virgil Moser, and Ramon Webb.

 



Claude Dwayne Carrico,
s/o Claude and Bessie Moser Carrico, was b. 23 Apr 1932 in Calico Rock.  He departed this life on
9 Mar 2005 in Calico Rock at
the age of 72y, 10m, 23d. 

Claude served in the United States Army from 1948
to 1951.  He was united in marriage to Sue Martin on June 29,
1957 in Calico Rock, AR and to this union, 2 daughters were born.

During his working years, Claude worked as a self-employed carpenter. 

After retirement, he enjoyed painting, hunting, fishing and keeping his

grandchildren.

Claude leaves to mourn his passing: 2 daughters and son-in-law: Susan

and Jerry Curtis of Calico Rock and Sonya and Jimmy Sneathern of Calico

Rock; 7 grandchildren:  Jamie Robbins, Drew Curtis
Jade and

Mackenzie Brewer, Amber, Bridget and Brendan Sneathern; one

great-granddaughter: Molly Robbins and a host of
other relatives and

friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one

sister: Wilma Elam and one brother: Lowell
Carrico.

Graveside service was Friday, March 11 at 10:00
a.m. at Roselawn
