Bill,
I don't beleive I have ever seen a post that contains the whole digest for a
particular day. How did you get the Vol 5, Issue 377? It would be a great
way to save the day's information that is posted.
Janice

>> Hi Dolores,

>>
>> Card Number 51833078 #422 Confederate Records
>> The Card Reads:
>>
>> J.C. Loggins
>> Private
>> Company A
>> 3rd Confederate Infantry
>>
>> There are two cards:
>> [1] The one above notes:
>> Formerly known as the 18th (Marmaduke's) Regiment Arkansas Infantry.
>> In April 1865, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 19th and

>> [2] The second card is a Muster Roll Card.
>> It notes that he enlisted February 5, 1864 at Rome, GA (this may not have

>> he was never paid for his enlistment.
>>
>> There is also a notation about Company H, 3rd Confederate Infantry.
>> (It's hard to read, bad copy, but think he was in Co. H, when he died)
>>
>> At the bottom of the card it reads:
>> The men of Company 1 were transferred to this company, April 23, 1862.
>>
>> By S.O. No. 25, A. and I. General Orders dated January 31, 1862, the

>>
>> About April 9, 1865, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 19th,
>> and 24th Regiment Arkansas Infantry and the 3rd Regiment Confederate
>> Infantry were consolidated and formed the 1st Consolidated Arkansas
