Mathias was a Long Hunter of Harman Station fame, he was called "Dutchman"
by early settlers. - per Maxine Stufflebeam
Harman Station was first English Settlement on Big Sandy near East Point in
1787. Cloyd Co./, KY - per Maxine Stufflebeam.
Tombstone indicates Mathias Harman Sr served in the Continental Line during
the Revolutionary War and the date of birth is 1736 and the date of death
is 1832

Ginny, Do you know the source for Henry having been born in 1724? I
suppose he's quite a bit older than the others. If Rachel was born ca. 1708,
having been about sixteen years old when she had Henry, she could have still
had children into the mid 1750s. That would work.
I think there is proof that Mathias Harman was born in 1736. I suppose it
was assumed that his wife, Lydia Skaggs, was born in a similar timeframe,
but she has to be much younger than he. - Jeremy
