You amaze me!
What can anyone tell me about Solgohachia, AR?
Isn't this in Pope Co., AR?
I had just discovered this location in connection to
James McNeill & wife, Martha JeRusha Broadway's
brother, Richard B. Broadway/Broadaway. From TN, I believe
that he and his family relocated to Conway Co., AR but in the next census (think it was 1860) his family showed up in Pope Co., AR----I have never gotten back to that research to check to see whether Conway Co might have been broken up into other counties---Does anyone remember?

I think that it was about 3-4 days ago I logged on Ancestry.com and just searched Richard B. Broadway's name, it came up that a tree had been added. This was new! It is literally posted by one of the descendants of Richard B. Broadway. I was shocked because I had never been able to dig up anyone researching that family and there they were!!!!! Talk about thrilled! I shot off an ancestry communication immediately and have not checked to see if there was any reply. The gf of this individual was born in Solgohachia, AR and he and his wife married and lived in Michigan. He had commented at one point about him having run around with guys in AR that had moved from Michigan to his community. I thought that was all very interesting because my husband, Steve's grandparents Cooper had been in Detroit, MI
working in the automobile industry and the depression hit---they moved back to NW AR and SW MO with a lot of the belonging that they had moved from AR to Michigan. It's a really wild story but I'm wondering if some of the people the Broadway descendant was talking about might not have been in the depression crunch as well because the descendant joined the Navy for WWII and had entered in Michigan.

Anyone got any ideas???

Glenna,
I am related to the Cantrells and Killians.  My Cantrells are from Tennessee
moving to Ripley Co. Missouri, before going to Haskell Co. Ok.  The Killians
were from Tennessee to Izard Co., Ar then on to Haskell Co., OK. 
I believe that the Cantrells are distant kin but that the Killians are
related to you.

 Donna, Sorry to be so long getting back to you, but I was going thru some
Cantrell stuff.  Do you need some info on the Canttrells ?  I don't have
much on the Killians.  Martha Lavinda  Cantrell m. William M. Killian=so we
are definately related.  Martha was a sister to my gggrandfather , William
Davis Cantrell.  I do have dates , names if you need them, just let me know
what.  I have to look stuff up--never have gotten a computer program --guess
I will someday!   How long have you been doing genealogy?  Will be glad to
help you anyway I can. Have to venture to Admore tomorrow for a dr's appt.
