Pat, you might check Baxter List Archives -- TANNERs were in Baxter County.

Subject: [ARIZARD] Tanner - Pat

Mom's brother (J.C.Montgoemry m. Ruby Tanner-both deceased) married into the family so I have about 30ish Tanners. Nothing fits my limited limited file.
No names starting with "P", no Dora, no "JC" & only "R" is Randal/Rannel Tanner m. Omer Mary Ann Blevins (both b. 1908-09).
Any clues on post mark date?
Marsha

I have one of those old postcard pictures with a man, woman, and child in
it.
The writing on the back was done with pencil and over the years the most
important portion--the man's surname has been worn away in the middle.  We
have made various interpretations of it but with the middle missing, etc.,
haven't figured it out yet.
I have no idea if they are/were married at the time.
It appears the lady is listed as Dora/Dara Tanner (maybe).
Being an old teacher who often tried to read bad penmanship, I can make all
kinds of words out of Tanner!
Does this name sound familiar to anyone?
And the child-about 2-4 yrs old appears to be J. C. with same surname as
man.
Surname appears to be Par_____m or Ra______m?
Have searched Ancestry some and Rootsweb with no matches as to maybe husband
and wife.
The man and female might be brother and sister?

P.S. June, spring is coming soon!  I promise!!
