I don't know where they were married...not even the state. I sent for a death cert of their son Lige Oliver Hill and all it showed was that his mother was born in Tennessee. I have wondered if maybe Oliver was her maiden name? Or maybe her
dad's first name.
Thanks

Joy:
My sister and I went to the courthouse in LaClede Co., Missouri several
years ago and got a copy of not only his and our grandmothers marriage
license but also a copy of his and his first wife.s marriage license. If you
know what county he and his second wife were married in I don't think you
will have any problem getting a copy of their license since you at least
know what his name was.
Hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Marian Beene
