I agree with you about the Goodspeed books! You are so lucky to have the NE
AR book near you, and so smart to copy the information about your Charles
Monroe Grimmett.

The transcription about my Bates line has been helpful to me too.

I've been thinking about writing to the AR archives to see if they have the
book and see if I can get a color digital photo or scan of the title and
date page, the John N. Bates article, and the page that the article refers
to: p. 926.
