Mrs. Fannie Sears of Salida, Calif., passed away Saturday, December 29, 1979, at her home in that city aftr a lengthy illness. Mrs. Sears, 63, was born at Dolph, Arkansas, May 4, 1916, the duaghter of the late J. Henry and Eliza May. She had resided in Salida the past thirty-four years.

She is survived by her husband, Ermon Sears of the home; two sons, Glen Sears of Salida and Johnny Sears of Modesto, Ca.; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Brown of Taft, Ca., Mrs. Maude Moody of Pineville, Arkansas and a brother Oather May of Wenatchee, Wash.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services were held Jan. 2, 1980, at 3 p.m. in Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Interment was at Lakewood Memorial Part at Modesto, California.

Pall bearers were David Haubrich, Ray, Jones, Dennis McKenzie, Roy Jones, Jr., Raymond Leverett and Orville Langston.
