Curtis Wilson Loggains of Melbourne, son of the late James Martin and Nancy Ann Hester Loggains, was born November 15, 1913 in Stone County. He died October 24, 1998 at the Medical Center of Calico Rock. He was 84.
Mr Loggains was united in marriage to Edna Juanita O'Neal December 17, 1935. To this union two daughters were born. He was a farmer and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Betty Ann Loggains Forrest and husband, Dariol Forrest; one brother, Eugene and wife, Jackie; two sisters, Mildred Rose and Claudia Loggains; one granddaughter, Beverly Ann Forrest Barnes and husband, Louie; and tow great-grandchildren, Nicole and Kimberly Barnes, all of Melbourne. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter, Ernestine Loggains and two brothers.
Funeral services were held October 25, 1998 at Crouch Chapel in Melbourne with Reverend Leonard Williams officiating.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Loggains, James Loggains, Leon Loggains, Eulys Loggains, John Teague and Benny Banning.
Interment was at Pratt Cemetery in Lunenburg under the direction of Crouch Funeral Home in Melbourne.
