Gen, Interesting the family of Jim Pearson ended up in the San Bernardino area of CA.

In answer to your question "what happened to the children of Henry T. Butler and Nola Dillard/Pearson/Butler".
Mary Ellen
..................

From letters written by Milus Butler.
Nola Dillard Butler died of tuberculosis, when children were very young.
Milus says there were two daughters, Eva & Edna.

(Note from Henry's great granddaughter, Donna)

Eva Bell Butler Birth: 8-05-1902 Death: 2-28-1993 born at Violet Hill, Izard County, AR,
Buried at the Violet Hill Cemetery, Izard County,AR.

Eva married Owen Thomas Wiles 9-12-1926 in Sidney, Sharp County, AR

Owen Thomas Wiles Birth: 1-30-1897 Death: 11-15-1981
Born La Crosse, Izard County,AR, buried Violet Hill Cemetery, Izard County,AR.

Children of Eva Bell Butler and Owen Thomas Wiles:

1. Marie Catherine Wiles
2. Thomas Ancil Wiles birth: 1-27-1929
3. Edna Janada Wiles

(all children still living 2006.)

Eva's mother died when she was 5 years old. Henry Butler was a traveling preacher of the Pentecost faith. Her father (Henry) placed his 2 daughters in the care of 2 separate families, and continued traveling.... Eva did not see her father again until his return for a visit after she married and had 2 children.

Eva's children met their grandfather Henry just once when he had dropped in for a surprise visit. Eva had not seen her own father since she was 5 years old.
They all remember his visit with the many phrases of "Bless You" and "Praise the Lord!" during the supper they had shared.

.................................
Eva is on the 1910 census living in the hme of Calvin Hames age 7. Violet Hill, AR
1920 we find her living in the home of Millers age 17, Violet Hill, Arkansas
1930 census as wife of Owen Wiles, Pleasant Hill, Izard County, AR.

I have not been able to locate Edna Butler, Milus said she married a Smith.
