Web friends and family,
I would like to offer a "thankful prayer" for all the mother's who have gone before. Were it not for their scrafices we would not be here. I can only imagine all the hardships they had to endure just to see their children grown, or the sadness they felt at the loss of a child. In reading through history books and actual dairies of some of these women it is just unbelieveable the hardships they had to endure. I feel there is a special award in heaven for those mothers.
Everyone talks about all the great men of history, but today I thank all the mother's of those men. Those who worked their fingers to the bone to make sure their sons (and daughters) had all the opportunities that God would allow.
I wish all of you could have a mom like mine, (no I won't "rent" her out) but you can visit her anytime. She has produced one of the most loving families on earth. Karen and I are so close, only love could have produced sisters that have never had (and never will have) a cross word. We live completely different types of life but the love our family has only grows more each day. Just last week Karen and I took our worms and fishing poles and spent a great afternoon on her pond bank. Ah! The simple pleasures of life.
Thanks, mom.
And to all the other mothers out there, enjoy the day! Rain or shine, your light will shine today!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Jean, thanks for being a great "mom" to a bunch of little ones. You do a great job.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
"Still hunting"
