Hi Rick and Glenda

I had the same thing happen to me. What I think is going on is that it is a Navy NKO site.and me being retired Army it don't find me in the Navy records.
I as part of the Army, I am on the Army AKO and it does not show any way there to get Ancestry.com. I think it may be a Navy thing that they do for their branch.
I called Ancestry and talked to a real nice man by the name on Mel. I asked him about them having free stuff for service members. He said that they don't have any thing like that other then the 14 day free trial. He said if it was in his power he would sure get it to all the service. That is why I think it may be a Navy thing. I am going to get to the AKO site and ask them if they are going to stand by and let the Navy do more for Navy boys and girls then what they do for us Army. Not saying that the Navy don't deserve every thing they get because they do.
We will just hope we can find a sponsor's info before so we can sign up as a guest.

I am retired military and read this with great interest. I have tried to
sign up on this page but it either says it cannot verify me OR it says I
need a sponsor's info before I can sign up as a guest. Any suggestions?
