Vera, Parry is the name that I remember. With every family there are so
many stories. Etta was a young widow with two small children, She had
numerous family members who assisted her, but she was both independent and
courageous. She answerd a newspaper advertisment for a bride, went to meet
him, and the couple made the journey with their respective families back to
Arkansas by covered wagon. The marriage lasted a lifetime. During the
past three years, I have had contact with Ellen Parry, Rena's daughter, and
