Homer L. Lawrence, son of the late Mr and Mrs Jim Lawrence was born at Elizabeth, Arkansas, June 30, 1886. He departed this life June 25, 1962 at the age of 76 years.

He was united in marriage to Lula Vermillion March 4, 1909. To this union three sons were born. He later married Edith Moon and to this union one daughter was born.

He leaves to mourn his passing Lee Lawrence of Chardon, Ohio, Ruben Lawrence of Van Buren, Ark., and Pearl Branson of Chardon, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and a host of relatives and many friends.

He made his home with Ruben Lawrence of Van Buren, Arkansas until the time of his death.

He recently accepted the Lord as his personal Savior.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Calico Rock with the Rev. Edwin Burris of Van Buren, Ark., assisted by Rev. Sherrell of Calico Rock, officiating.

Interment was made in the Elizabeth Cemetery at Elizabeth, Arkansas, under the direction of the Hall Funeral Home.
