Vera, Frank Chastain married Ellen Hall,daughter of Rev Finis Ewing Hall.
She was pregnant with their seventh child when she and the unborn child were
killed in a horseback riding accident. Frank then married Amanda Hall,
Ellen's younger sister, and that marriage produced four sons.
