Morning every one it's coffee break , or mabye wake up call.
Gen so glad you and gchildren were safe. It is really nerve racking when
they tell you to take cover, and no place to go. we were watching the
weather new's and seen Ka, and Mo were catching the blunt of things last
night. Thank goodness not bad tornado's were reported. Sun is trying to peep
through here.
The weather is getting like summer now, and hope we can keep getting a few
showers along. The Norfork Lake is still real full. Guess it maybe going
down some but really slow. Bath room isn't in sight and only a little of the
top of the pervillion? is showing. Don't figure it will be down untill fall.
Sure is taking it's toll on alot of camp sites ,and boat dock's. Still alot
of folk's fishing and catching some good fish. We never go fishing any more.
Keep's us busy with Ed working at the shop, making Dr call, and buying
groceries (and getting to high to buy), but we have got to eat, gas is ti
high to do much running around if not necessary. There are getting to be
more, and more motorcycles on the road. Around here they are having alot of
accident's on them. Even some have died. You couldn't pay me enough to get
me one one of the thing's. Ha! Used to ride a bicycle, but not any more. I
remeber how i learned to ride one . Went to my cousin's house on Twin creek.
They had an old worn out one no brakes, so i would roll of the hill into a
sand be and hit the fence to stop, so i got a few scratches and bruses
before i could ride. LOL I perfered one of dad's ol mules to old to do much.
Throw a toe sack on or ride barback.and it was "oh my rear end"Ha!
Guess we will baby sit Karen's little dog today, and part of the night. They
have a bid sale at the Fair grounds today, and a horse sale tonight. Last
night was their regular Fri night sal at the barn. Know some folk's that
will be worn out. Tommie is just like the energizing bunny he just keeps
ticking. He will go till he drop's .
Guess, i better shush up and feed my critter's before a break in.
Hope every one a good week end, and God Bless. Junebug

> It was a beautiful day today, after last afternoon, hiding the gkids under
the stairs in my basement. Weatherman was forcasting a twister headed
straight towards my neighborhood. Thank goodness, it didn't happen,
though after looking at the way the wheat was laying out back, we could have
had a tiny twister. A friend of mine said a tree in their front yard
looked like a top, it's branches twisting in a circular motion.
> June, I think I'd feel safer in your hidey-hole, I've seen too many homes
on the news lately that had nothing left but an empty basement. If I
ever build another home, it WILL have a concrete hidey-hole built into the
basement.
> Well, getting late, think it's time for these bones to hit the hay.
Hope everyone has a good day tomorrow.
