Melbourne Times - Nov 21, 1957 – Joe Fulbright Passes Away
Joe Fulbright age 84 a resident of Batesville, died Friday morning in a Batesville hospital. He was born in Mt. Pleasant, was a farmer and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Barren Fork.

He is survived by his wife and three sons, C. H. Fulbright of Batesville, James Fulbright of Martinez, Calif., O. A. Fulbright of Mtn. View; three daughters; Mrs Harrison Ballard, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs Wendell Sage, Wichita, Kan., and Mrs Allen McSpadden of Batesville; three brothers, Jake Fulbright, Hillsboro, Texas, Asbury Fulbright of Locust Grove and Rufus Fulbright of Weiner; three sisters, Mrs Margaret Shirrell, Marshall, Texas, Mrs J. S. Bevens, Mt. Pleasant, Mrs Fannie Sipe of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at Barren Fork with burial in Barren Fork Cemetery.

Pall bearers were Otha McSadden, Charles Young, Oscar Bray, Alvis Bray, Wayne Martin and Delmas Martin.
