Yeah, I do that a lot......Sometimes I add a person and it tells me they are a
duplicate and ask if I want to merge, which I always do. But if the name and
date of birth of the spouse are not "exactly" the same it won't warn you. So when
I changed John to John L. and changed the date. it lets me merge the husbands also!!!

Unless I'm reading this wrong you have 2 marriages with same date to same
man.
