The deceased, Adeline McVey passed away Monday Oct 16, 1933 at the age of 85 years, 8 mo. and 2 days. She is survived by her husband, Willis McVey and 8 children, 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was married to Willis McVey Sept. 1, 1972. To this union 9 children were born, one having died in infancy. The others are: Louis McVey of Wideman, Ark., Lula Tidwell of Savanna, Tenn., Cora King of Springfield, Mo., Florence Beard of Brownfield, Tex., Willie McVey of Beaumont, Tex., Fannie Solomon and Lonnie Pendergraft of Oxford and Fronie Porterfield of Sidney, Ark. Mrs McVey had lived in this community for the past 45 years. Mrs McVey was a member of the Presbyterian Church, having been a Christian since she was 18 years old.

Five of the children were at the bedside when the end came. ------- Mrs W. L. McVey
