I have been watching alot of stuff go by lately--and figure I am related to some of you. If I am, I would appreciate you letting me know. My g-parents wereKee Powell and Walter Cantrell; g-g-grandwereSarah Luther Benbrook and William Cantrell ; g-g-g-grands were Charles Elbert Benbrook and Margaret E. Lafferty; gggg grands were Elbert Benbrook and Sarah (2nd wife--I think was Langston). I do know the names of their children and births--I know very little about the rest of the family--just bits and pieces! I could go farther back--but it would be too long. If you have information, are related, or have an interesting story to tell I would love to hear from you.. I did find a cousin on the Arizard list--Betty Mc--on the Caruthers side . She has been so sweet and so helpful! I just wish I had been smart like some of you guys and started years ago before the older ones in the family died. One of my cousins sent me a Salem calender and I was
surprised to see myg-grandfather. Colonel Carter and and Harriet Carter on front and back of it--also his sister and family,Belle Landers---that is really a keepsake. I sent a bunch of old family pics home with my daughters---their whole family have really enjoyed them. It has amazed me how much you can find--and sometimes what you can't when you hit a dead end. This really grows on you,doesn't it? Any help you can give me about the Benbrooks(or others) will be very much appreciated. Thanks. Glenna Goodwin
