Aug 22, 1952 - Mrs Pinkston Dies Following Long Illness

Mrs Elmer Keeney Pinkston aged 75, died Monday at her home at Culp,
following several weeks illness.

Mrs Pinkston had been a resident of this vicinity since childhood and was
for several years a resident of Izard County. She was married to Benjamin A.
Pinkston in 1896. Her husband preceded her in death by nine years. She
united with the Baptist Church early in life and was a devout Christian and
mother through-out the remainder of her life.

Surviving are six sons, John V. and Thurman Pinkston of Winters, Calif.,
Harlin Pinkston of Pennville, Indiana, Henry, Richard and Monroe Pinkston of
Culp, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs Paul Martin of Hartford City, Ind., Mrs
Greely Martin and Mrs Jasper N. Teague of Culp; two sisters, Mrs George
Sherman, Maynard, Ark., and Mrs Marie Flanery of Winters, Calif.; 33
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Five children preceded her in death.

Funeral services held at Culp Tuesday afternoon were conducted by Rev.
Rayburn Bone and Rev. J. D. McNair. Burial was in Branscum Cemetery under
direction of the Hall Funeral Service.
