Morning June and the rest of you'ns. Sound like everyone has made it
through so far without any real problems, good. Hope it stays that way.

You guys sound like Mom & I did during the winters. We lived "across the
field" from each other, so we kept up with what the other was doing. This
kind of weather she'd have a big pot of something going on her wood stove
that she was lucky enough to still have. How handy it came in too when we
lost power. We'd move to Mom's and cook on that and huddle around it to stay
warm. Aren't memories wonderful.

This kind of weather I loved to bake bread or something like that. Seemed
the kids could smell that bread baking no matter how far from the house they
were

Haven't figured out what's to eat this evening, lunch around here is really
nothing so I get out of cooking 2 meals a day. Neither of us eat breakfast,
and he usually just wants a sandwich or maybe a bowl of fruit and toast for
his lunch. Am I spoiled or what.

My kids on the Oregon coast are having fits too. This strange weather is
all over isn't it? They are 450 miles from me, but here in our corner of
Oregon its a bit of everything. Snow, wind, then it gets warm, then does it
all over again.

Folks I'm really trying to plan on being back there when Eastle comes back
this spring. But I have a real problem, I have to be home by June first. I
didn't realize my grand daughter on the coast graduates the 7th of June. So
don't make plans around me. I'm messed up again it seems. I really wanted
to bring the motor home this year and do a lot of digging around.

I still have lots of "diggin up bones" to do, in AR, Mo, and OK. But not
this spring it seems. I keep telling myself I don't have a lot of spare time
to myself. Four years ago when I was back there, I went over into the little
town in OK where I was born. There I was all alone on my 70th birthday, so
I went to the Post Office and whined so I could buy post cards that were
stamped and dated. Each of the kids has one in their scrap book, and they
were proud of it.

Okay folks have a good afternoon. I'm supposed to be working on taxes, so
better get back to it. Besides my coffee cup needs a refill.

Pat
